Beauty and the Beast - Compass Theatre

Ella Beaumont - Ensemble/Understudy Beauty 

Ella trained at Bird College Conservatoire of Dance and Musical Theatre. Whilst there, her credits include; Sandra Bloom in ‘Big Fish’ at Doreen Bird Foundation Theatre, Emma in ‘Coming Out of Lockdown’ at Doreen Bird Foundation Theatre & Tzeitel in ‘Wars/Fiddler on the Roof’ at Orchard Theatre, Dartford.


Ella is thrilled to be performing in this production of ‘Beauty and the Beast’, marking her first professional job. She would like to thank her friends and family for their continuous support.

Laura Beth-Mortemore - Beauty

Laura trained at The MTA and is delighted to be making her pantomime debut at The Compass Theatre with dk productions!

Laura was recently in the cast of ‘NewsRevue’ (Canal Cafe Theatre London), ‘The Visit’ (The National Theatre) & ‘Teletubbies Live!’ World Premier UK tour.

Her previous theatre and television credits include; Being part of the Comedy group ‘Shakespeare for Breakfast: Romeo and Juliet’ in 2019, ‘Macbeth’ in 2017 and ‘A Midsummer Night’s Meme’ in 2016 (Edinburgh Festival). Laura was a featured vocalist appearing on ‘Pitch Battle’ (BBC One and The One Show) 


Musical credits include; ‘Hot Mikado’ (The Landor) and ‘I Love You Because’ (The Jermyn Theatre) 

Voiceover credits include; ‘Teletubbies Mini Shows’ for Butlins and ‘Guitar Hero Live’ Game.


Laura has also travelled the world on two cruise ships as featured principal singer with Fred Olsen and Costa!

Lani Calvert - Enchantress

Lani is a Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts graduate who is delighted to be returning to perform with dk productions!

Her theatre credits include; Dominic Cummings in ‘Boris the Musical 3’ (Blowfish Theatre), Lead Vocalist in ‘Ocean Legend’ (SeaCruise UK), The Wicked Witch of The West in ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’ (dk productions)

Voiceover credits include; Dotty The Dalmatian/Henrietta the Hen/The Toad in ‘The Adventures of Dotty The Dalmatian’ (Tilley Peacock Productions)

Iona Crampton – Valerie

Iona trained at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. 

Her theatre credits include; 'Peppa Pig's Best Day Ever!' (West End/UK Tour), 'NewsRevue' (Canal Cafe Theatre), 'RENT' (Frogmore Paper Mill), Shakespeare's 'Pericles' (Upstairs At The Gatehouse), 'Tinderella' (Canal Cafe Theatre), 'Spring Awakening' (Frogmore Paper Mill), and 'Godspell' (Edinburgh Fringe Festival). 

Workshop Credits Include; 'Mallory On The Mountain' (Hope Mill Theatre/Imaginality Productions), 'The Terrific Treevils' (Woodlands Trust/Watford Palace), 'The Fairest Fairy', 'The Last Vampire' and 'The Flying Frog'. 

Screen Credits Include; 'Kon-Tiki' (Music Video), 'The Front Door' (Short Film), 'The Gallery' (Comedy Pilot), Foster Care Campaign (Commercial) and BBC's ‘Children in Need’

Alexander Flaherty - Prince Claude & Beast

Alexander trained at Doreen Bird College where he graduated with a degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. His credits whilst training include Dr Frank N. Further in ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’, Randall in ‘Bring it On! and Terry Connor in ‘Side Show’.


After graduating in 2020 Alexander is so excited to be making his professional debut at the Compass Theatre!

Niall Hemingway - Dame Dolly

 Niall trained at The Courtyard Theatre Training Company and graduated with a BA (Hons) in Acting.

Niall has performed in concerts for award winning American composer Ryan Scott Oliver in ‘RSO: In London’ at The St James Theatre and as a featured soloist for SquareNote Productions at The Union Theatre.

Ian Macnaughton - Philippe

Ian came late to acting having worked in education and youth work. He also writes and devises theatre projects. His interests also include clowning, cycling, an allotment and travel.

Theatre credits include; Badger in Kouyou theatre's 'Wind in the Willows' (outdoor theatre in Kent Country Parks), Polonius in 'Hamlet' at the Pack and Carriage, Isaiah Berlin in ‘Like A Chemist From Canada' (Edmissions UK Tour), Neville in ‘Mike Kenny's'Bag Dancing' (Theatre BlahBlahBlah) and Santa Claus in 'The Night Before Christmas' (Watford colosseum, Paul Holman Associates).


Film credits include; Ray Sinclair in 'The Last Rite' (Nocturnal Pictures) which is released in the US from this November 26th.


He is delighted to be back in a theatre playing 'Philippe' in 'Beauty and the Beast' this Christmas at the Compass Theatre, Ickenham!
