dk productions is a contemporary company of passionate theatre creators with the primary aim to provide high quality productions at affordable prices. Accessing theatre, be it through participating or watching, we believe is a fundamental life skill and should be readily available to all.
Established in 2010 by David Kemp, dk productions now prides itself in having the infrastructure and highly skilled team to produce and manage a range of performances, events and workshops.
Despite COVID-19 resulting in all our scheduled shows being postponed to 2021, dk productions continued to develop and expand its group behind closed doors, including a rebrand, developing its digital presence, employing additional office staff and by acquiring further warehouse facilities to store its ever growing set, prop and costume collections.
dk productions recognises that the UK theatre industry is not as diverse and representative as it should be. We pledge and hope to change this by committing to work with artists of different ethnicities, genders, and beliefs and through creating work that brings together a wide section of the community for an inclusive theatrical experience.
