dk productions are developing the upcoming generation of theatre performers and patrons by offering a diverse range of activities for children and young adults to join in with. Since 2010 we have held junior auditions to cast for our in-house productions, offering a professional show experience, and today, performing arts classes are accessible to those wishing to train on a regular basis. The Stage is Yours workshops are also delivered across multiple local boroughs during the summer.

Compass Totz

For our youngest children aged 3 & 4 we offer Compass Totz on Saturday mornings at Compass Theatre. These 30-minute classes are centred on adventures, devised to let your child’s imagination explore the world of make believe. The perfect introduction to musical theatre.

Compass Kidz

A happy and safe place for children aged 5-12 to express themselves artistically. 45-minute classes run Saturday mornings and Thursdays after school, led by a friendly team of Creatives who provide inspiring training in dance, singing and acting. Compass Kidz also perform onstage in our annual showcase at Compass Theatre. An excellent way to improve confidence and communication skills – all whilst making friends!

Compass Teenz

Taught in a stimulating environment, Compass Teenz is bespoke theatre training for our senior performers aged 13+. Delivering a combination of theatre skills for those who love to perform and of all abilities. This social group of theatre loving teenagers meet on Saturdays during term time.

LAMDA Musical Theatre Exams
Hillingdon
LAMDA Musical Theatre learners develop their acting skills through song. They use vocal techniques to convey the right mood and engage with the material to form a thoughtful interpretation of the song. They’ll also deepen their understanding of the history of musical theatre by performing songs from a range of eras, and by researching the work and influence of one of its composers and lyricists.
Private lessons are offered weekly (Saturday or Thursday) during term time in 30-minute sessions.
Children can either take their examinations online or at LAMDA in London
LAMDA is recognised to award qualifications on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) in England by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual).
